The original story of Pablo and Bruno is basically about two friends that lived in a village in the days of old. They wanted to get ahead but did not know how. The Mayor of the town gave them an opportunity to make some money by carrying buckets of water from a nearby stream to fill the town’s well which was running dry. He offered to pay them 1 cent per liter. The buckets would hold 10 liters. This sounded like a great offer. They each took two buckets and off they went. They could make 10 trips per day so the each were making $2 per day. Pablo thought the work was too hard and very limiting. Bruno did not mind and was happy carrying the buckets. Pablo had an idea to build a pipeline from the stream to the well and this way the water would flow by itself and he could be paid for many liters day and night.

Bruno laughed at the idea and said Pablo was dreaming. Stick with what we know works. But Pablo had a vision and by day carried buckets and by night worked on the pipeline. It was tough work but he persisted. Bruno did well for himself and thought Pablo was mad. Bruno decided to carry bigger buckets so he could be paid more. But over time the strain caught up with him and his back gave out. He could only carry tiny buckets now and could not survive on this low pay.

Pablo found that when the pipeline was halfway built, he did not have to walk all the way to the stream, but used his pipeline. Eventually the pipeline was completed and the money flowed into Pablo’s pockets as fast as the water flowed. He followed his vision and enjoyed the results.  Pablo offered to teach Bruno to build pipelines but Bruno was not able to work with his back. Pablo went off to the next village to build another pipeline.

Then Jim entered the scene. He was intrigued by Pabo’s pipeline. He could see the benefit but thought there was a better way. He came up with the idea to use a team to build the pipeline and divide the rewards. Using a team would make building the pipeline easier and quicker. Sharing the work and the results was the way to go. But Jim found that there were not many people who were prepared to pay for the 6m lengths of heavy pipe and the work was hard. It was difficult to even convince people that a pipeline would even work. Jim found that only 1 in 30 people would be prepared to do the work and follow their dream.  Jim’s pipeline was built and the rewards were worth the effort. Jim went to many villages to help people to build pipelines.

Now Bill comes along and was intrigued with Jim’s pipeline concept and the teamwork approach. It was proven to work but it was difficult to find the people who would want to do it. Although Jim told Bill this was the only way to get predictable results, Bill kept thinking there must be a better way. Bill was focused on helping people to attain the rewards.

The answer became clear and obvious. People did not like the cost and the long heavy pipes. They did not want to do the hard work or spend the time to build the pipeline. They had to invest too much into a concept they were not sure or convinced about.

Bill decided to use pipes that were 1/10 the length. Instead of 6m they were only 60cm long (a couple of feet). They were much cheaper to purchase and easy to carry. The work was very easy and took very little time to lay one small pipe. It did mean that the rewards were shared by ten times more people so the amount of the rewards each person received would be ten times less. Since the rewards will flow continuously when the pipeline has been completed, there will be more than enough to be comfortable.

Almost everyone joined in to build the pipeline. Even the most skeptical joined in as they did not want to miss out on a share of the rewards. Although the pipes were short, the pipeline was built relatively very quickly. It was easy to get people to join when the cost was low, the work very easy & quick and the rewards worthwhile. Bill was delighted to have helped many people.

Now that the people had built the main pipeline, to make the most of it, they could now build a secondary pipeline that would tap off from the main pipeline and direct it to their house. Again a team approach is used for building the pipeline and each person can tap off this secondary pipeline to build another to their house.

Although there may be other ways to build pipelines, beware of using poor quality pipes and poor joints. It may take some time for the water to flow through the pipe.

C Y O’Connor who built the Perth to Kalgoorlie pipeline committed suicide thinking he had failed because it took three days for the water to flow to the end.

The Cast

Buno – The average worker trying to get ahead by working hard at their job.

Pablo – The old Amway system where people were in it for themselves.

Jim – The Network 21 way to build pipelines with teams of extraordinary people.

Bill – The CTA way to build pipelines with teams of ordinary people.

c.t.a

Consumers   Take   Action

This simple story illustrates the pipeline concepts and the effectiveness of teamwork. By making pipelines easy and affordable for the ordinary people, a much larger team works together to achieve the rewards.

So, why do think they were disappointed?

   Was the restaurant hyped up?

   Were they expecting something which

   Were they expecting something which

   Did they ask any questions?

What Type Of Questions Did They Ask?

What type of information was given?

   What were their expectations?

   Was the restaurant,

Carrots, Eggs & Coffee

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her.
She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up, She was tired of fighting and struggling.
It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high
fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs,
and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them
in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl.
Turning to her daughter, she asked, ' Tell me what you see.'

'Carrots, eggs, and coffee,' she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft.
The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell,
she observed the hard boiled egg.

Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma.
The daughter then asked, 'What does it mean, mother?'

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water.

Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However,
after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile.
Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside
became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water,
they had changed the water.

'Which are you?' she asked her daughter. 'When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond?
Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and
become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit,
but after a death, a break-up, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff?
Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with
a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance
that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavour. If you are like the bean,
when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you.

When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest do you elevate yourself to another level?
How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything
that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward
in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.

Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

May we all be COFFEE!!!!!!

Are You Making These Three Fatal Mistakes?

There are 3 HUGE reasons why people fail in recruiting in networking.  And after studying and doing the business for nearly
14 years full-time, I discovered there is a pattern that I saw that developed with people who were struggling with their home
business recruiting, which usually is the majority of folks.

And I hope that you will look at these 3 reasons and see where you can change your focus and efforts to a more productive
  and effective style of Recruiting.

The 3 Biggest Reasons for Recruiting Failure:

1) “The distributor not talking to People.”

Yes, you read that right. Amazing as that sounds.
There are many  people who lead people to believe with their words that they are actually recruiting and
talking to people. But they are not.

They are busy at building a facade of a business and never really engaging the conversation and contact necessary for success.

Why?

Fear of many things. But that is the biggest reason. And how do you  overcome it?

Find a recruiting partner who will help emotionally support you and   help you, whether it is your upline or sideline.
 And work with them.

Yes, there are folks out there who truly are talking to no one, as they are scared. If you see no action happening with someone in
your downline, it may be a “silent talker.”

Otherwise someone who talks about recruiting, but is silent when it comes time to recruit.

You MUST communicate with folks if you are going to have success in the marketplace and with your home business.

Imagine, fooling yourself into believing you are truly working a Networking business this way. NOT!

2) “The Distributor Not talking to Enough people.”

This is an interesting thing. There seems to be a comfort level with  people that says “I have talked to xx number of people,
and nothing is happening, so that means I can’t recruit because this doesn’t work.”

Again..NOT!

INFERNO Secret:

One of the biggest reasons failure occurs is: (GET THIS!)

Too many distributors spend too much time, with too many people, who have too little of an interest.

Talk to a lot of DIFFERENT people.

It amazes me that someone can say they talked to a lot of folks,
and in reality they talked a lot to a few folks who have little interest.
And it’s all because they don’t have to go out and talk to NEW people.

They would tather talk to people with little interest than new folks who do have an interest.

New Blood in your Recruiting.

INFERNO Secret:

In Recruiting, NEW blood keeps the heart of your business pumping. Talk to ENOUGH people and talk to people ENOUGH,
 but don’t turn them off.

Go on to a new person, and see what happens with that person verses trying to force someone into the business who later will
only leave with a bad taste.

3)”The Distributor not talking to the Right People”

Wasting massive amounts of time. That is what most distributors do when recruiting and continue to do.
They talk to the wrong people, and then bring in the wrong people, and then have a downline of mostly wrong people.

Who are the right people?

People who light up and catch Fire when you show them your home business, and then light other’s up when they talk.
Not someone who complains after only 2 days because the application is the wrong color.

Or the wrong size. Or the upline is not doing enough to welcome them aboard.

2 phone calls is not enough. You know the type.

There is what we call the “Recruiting IQ”. And that helps tell you if they are the right one.

IQ stands for “Ignite Quickly.” And if they catch fire quickly, they have a great chance of being the “right one” to pursue.

   INFERNO Secret:

To attract the Right One for your Home Business Success, you must BECOME the right one.

You must become who you want to attract into this home business through personal development and empowerment.

Subject: Forget about your goals

There’s an amazing phenomenon of the mind that can be harnessed to attract absolutely anything to you – including prospects.

This is not some phoney-baloney, be-one- with-the-universe type thing either.

I GUARANTEE you that you’ve experienced this at some point in your life and you will immediately know what I’m talking about.

It’s just that maybe you didn’t understand the exact process that was going on when it happened or you’ve never applied it to your
business in a concrete way before.

Let me explain...

Just last week my husband and I gave our eighteen year old son an ultimatum: Either you start paying insurance on the car you’ve
been driving around for the last two years or we’re getting rid of it.

He thought about the high insurance premium he’d have to be paying AND the high cost of gas and thought that maybe now’s the
time to buy a scooter and skip all the high end costs of owning and operating a car. So my husband went with him to go pick out
 his new mode of transportation.

The next day he came home grinning from ear to ear, happy with his new purchase.

Then he went on to tell me about how many other scooters he saw on his way home. He couldn’t believe how many there were!
He figured there must have been at least 13 or 14 of them.

Of course those other scooters were there all along... it’s just that he wasn’t focused on them.

Maybe you’ve had an experience just like this, or, most likely when you decided in your mind that you really wanted something –
 a new car for example.

Before you picked out a particular model you probably never even noticed them on the road. But as soon as you decided you were
going to save up to buy one... you started seeing them everywhere!

-------------------------
WHATEVER YOU CONCENTRATE
YOUR THOUGHTS ON, THAT’S
WHAT YOU ATTRACT TO YOU
-------------------------

But you’ve heard this all before right?

Visualize yourself in possession of your goals and they will magically appear in your life – all by themselves!

See, what most of us are taught to do is focus ALL our thoughts on our LONG TERM goals.
Things like making $30,000/mo... a 10,000 sq ft house... etc... etc.

And that’s fine.

But what most companies DON’T teach you to do is figure out what’s going to be needed to take you from point A to point B
(things like skills sets, marketing systems, business procedures, etc) and to focus on THOSE THINGS,
more so than your material goals.

What I’ve found is that by concentrating all my thoughts and efforts on acquiring the right skills (and I do mean the RIGHT ones)...
and putting them to use... all that other stuff is literally unavoidable.

Your goals just happen by default – almost as an after-thought.

The key of course – just like with a new car – is knowing WHAT to look for.

Once you understand the simple (almost embarrassingly simple) formula of how
attraction marketing works and how to get hungry crowds of people to come to you,
you’ll see opportunities to do so EVERYWHERE.

You won’t be able to sleep at night because of all the different potential streams of new leads you saw that day.

That’s what the interview I have for you today is about.

I got a guy named Scott Rogers on the phone for about 40 minutes and he shared how he shifted from a “prospecting mindset”
to a “marketing mindset” and how it led to him generating well over 6,600 leads for his business online.

Pay attention to the first part where he talks about studying the marketplace and differentiating yourself. Sooo crucial,
yet NOBODY in network marketing talks about this (even though all the big wigs – yes even the ones who tell you
“don’t reinvent the wheel” or “the internet doesn’t work” – are doing it. The truth is, in many cases,
they don’t even realize they’re doing it).

Just click the link below to listen to the interview:

To Your Success,

Ann Sieg

Have you ever had these questions or concerns...?

"How do I get my prospects to see the big picture like I do?"

"What do you tell people when they say they don't want to sell?"

"What is the response when asked in a fearful quippy tone,
      "Is this one of
those pyramid deals?"

One of the hardest lessons everyone must learn when it comes to sponsoring is the willingness to
      "just say no."

I want you to read those questions again and notice what each of them have in common...

 Do you see it?

In every case, a hard working networker is unwilling to let go of a bad prospect.

Please let this sink in... Sponsoring someone is NOT your goal here. Sponsoring the right person is.
  • The "right" person has a deep desire to start a home business and already sees the big picture.

  • The "right" person knows exactly what a networking business is because they've been doing their homework at the local book store for months.

  • The "right person" does not have ridiculous pre-requisites for owning a business like "I don't want to sell."

  • The "right" person knows that it takes money to make money.

  • The "right" person doesn't whine, complain, or make excuses.
So here's what I say when any of those questions arise...

"How do I get my prospects to see the big picture like I do?"

You can't get your prospects to do anything, nor would you want to.
The desire MUST already be in place and it cannot be injected into them by you or anyone else.

It can only come from within that person.

Answer: "Thanks for your time John, but I don't think this is right for you."

"What do you tell people when they say that they don't want to sell?"

Again, trying to sponsor a person who asks a question like this is like trying to fit a square peg
 into a round hole.

They're obviously not right for this business. Let them go.

Answer: "Thanks for your time John, but I don't think this is right for you."

"What is your response when asked in a fearful quippy tone, "Is this one of those pyramid deals?"

This is someone who would "like" to make money from home, but they have no real intention of doing
so at all. If they did, they would have done enough research by now to know the difference between a
 networking business and a "pyramid."

By now you already know the answer and here's the point...

You don't answer questions like these because the answer is irrelevant.
These aren't the people you're looking for.

Let them go.

Staying emotionally attached to the outcome with prospects like this will doom your business.

It leads to frustration, doubt, and confusion... All of which is unnecessary.

When you finally became willing to let them go... When you became "willing" to sponsoring someone, instead of "needing" to... When you hold all the power in the interaction instead of the prospect.

know that "letting go" of your prospects in order to sponsor more of them might seem backwards,
but it makes perfect sense once you understand the psychology of attraction.

Your foundation of attraction is based on the level of value you have to offer others.

Coming across as needy or desperate in anyway is like holding up a sign in front of your prospect that says,
  "I have NO value!"

So it becomes very important that you demonstrate your ability and willingness to "let your prospects go".

Successful distributors don't" need" to sponsor more people.
They don't "need" to return phone calls, or constantly chase down prospects.

And once a prospect realizes that about you, is the moment they'll feel a strong desire to work with you.

Some friends continue to try to recruit me into network marketing deals that seem like some type of money game or pyramid. Other friends tell me they're illegal and I'll get into trouble. How do I know what's legal and legitimate?

#  To help you understand what network marketing is,
Network marketing is not a pyramid scheme.
Pyramids are programs similar to chain letters where people just invest money based on the promise that other people will put in money that will filtrate back to them and somehow, they'll get rich. A pyramid is where money is paid out and no product or service is received. A pyramid is strictly a money game and has no basis in real commerce. Normally, there's no product involved at all, just money changing hands. Modern-day pyramids may have a product, but it's clearly there just to disguise the money game.

Pyramids are illegal and are based on taking advantage of people. For a person to actually make money in a pyramid scheme, someone else has to lose money. But in network marketing, each person can multiply his or her efforts, skills and talents by helping others be successful. Network marketing has proved itself as part of the new economy and a preferred way to do business here and around the world.

Network marketing is a legitimate business. First, it's based on providing people with real, legitimate products they need and want at a fair price. While some people do make a lot of money through network marketing, their financial benefit is always the result of their own dedicated efforts in building an organization that sells real products and services.

Network marketing isn't about taking advantage of your friends and relatives. Only a few years ago, network marketing meant retailing to, and sponsoring people from, your "warm list" of prospects. Although sharing the products or services and the opportunity with people you know is still the basic foundation of the business, today we see more people using sophisticated marketing techniques such as the Internet, conference calling and other long-distance sponsoring techniques to extend their network across the country.

Network marketing isn't a get-rich-quick scheme. Of course some people do make large amounts of money very quickly. Many would say those people are lucky. But success in networking isn't based on luck. (Unfortunately, money won't sprout wings and fly into your bank account no matter what someone has promised you.) Success in network marketing is based on following some very basic yet dynamic principles.

Now let's discuss what network marketing is. Network marketing is a serious business for serious people. It's a proven system where the design, creation and expense the corporate team has gone through becomes a road map for your own success. Just follow the simple, proven and duplicable system that the good companies provide.

The real key is this: Network marketing is all about leverage. You can leverage your time and increase the number of hours of work effort on which you can be paid by sponsoring other people and earning a small income on their efforts. Would you rather make 1 percent on the efforts of 100 people than 100 percent on your own effort. This very basic concept is the cornerstone of network marketing.

For example, most successful people building a network marketing business do so in an organized method. They work a few dedicated hours each week, with each hour of effort serving as a building block for their long-term business growth. Then they sponsor other people and teach those people how to sell the company product and sponsor others who duplicate the process.

By helping the people you personally sponsor to sponsor others, you duplicate yourself. As this process continues, you create compound growth that can lead to hundreds or even thousands of people coming into your business. You leverage your time by helping others be successful and earn an income from all their efforts.

With network marketing, there are no big capital requirements, no geographical limitations, no minimum quotas required and no special education or skills needed. Network marketing is a low-overhead, homebased business that can actually offer many of the tax advantages associated with owning your own business. Network marketing is a people-to-people business that can significantly expand your circle of friends. It's a business that enables you to travel and have fun as well as enjoy the lifestyle that extra income can provide.

Beating a bad economy
                                             --  from home --

While corporate America suffers,
  the best home-built businesses thrive.
Indeed, more than half of all U.S. businesses are now run from
kitchen tables, extra bedrooms, basements and garages.

Home-based businesses make a $530 billion contribution to the nation's economy each year.
And for many Americans, starting up at home has become a necessity.

What appeared to be simply another economic downturn a year ago
has devolved into a far more dire situation.

Major economic giants, including Lehman Bros. (LEHMQ, news, msgs),
American InternationalGroup (AIG, news, msgs) and General Motors (GM, news, msgs),
have shown their vulnerability. As corporate titans lay people off by the
thousands, many Americans are being forced to find new ways to make a living.

Their criteria?   Inexpensive to start.   Immediate results.

Enter home-based businesses.
Running your own show from home typically requires little more than a skill set and a passion.
It has become the stepping-off point for many a newbie entrepreneur.

A recent Wells Fargo study indicated that the average amount of capital required to start a
business is approximately $10,000. When you consider that that statistic includes capital-intensive,
brick-and-mortar start-ups, you realize that some home-based businesses can be started on
  a few hundred dollars.

A Boom Among Boomers

In terms of who is being drawn to home-based business, it's a mix of men and women, young and old.
But one group that seems particularly drawn to starting up is the baby-boom generation..
This group is clearly leveraging skills accumulated during corporate careers and previous
entrepreneurial adventures. They're realizing that they can no longer count on long-term
  corporate careers.

Adding additional impetus, boomers have watched their retirement savings wither with Wall Street,
forcing them to figure out ways to replenish their coffers.
That helps make the income generated from a home-based business -- whether primary or
supplemental -- incredibly appealing to boomers.

 Let's talk about passion

But as compelling as the income may be, at the centre of every home-based business is
  one driving force:
passion.

The opportunity to do what you love, to have proximity to family and pets and the comforts of home
while conducting meaningful work, still plays the starring role.

Running a business built around a passion adds meaning and direction in life, a welcome antidote to
  these confusing and disenfranchising times.

For some, this passion is expressed by going green. They use their business to influence other business
owners and in so doing is creating a better world for the next generation.

The start-up world shows no signs of slowing down. Whether people join to combat a tough economy,
as an alternative to the corporate life or to simply follow their passions, start-ups are alive and well.

Unlike many of the big enterprises out there today, a great number of
home-based ventures are still open for business and truly thriving.

Think about all of the people you know that have a need to earn extra money and would like to
  positively impact future generations.

Feast your eyes on one trillion dollars!!!

What does one TRILLION dollars look like?

All this talk about "stimulus packages" and "bailouts"...
A billion dollars...
A hundred billion dollars...
Eight hundred billion dollars.
One TRILLION dollars...
What does that look like? I mean, these various numbers are tossed around like so many doggies treats, so I thought I'd take Google Sketchup out for a test drive and try to get a sense of what exactly a trillion dollars looks like.
We'll start with a $100 dollar bill. Currently the largest U.S. denomination in general circulation. Most everyone has seen them, slightly fewer have owned them. Guaranteed to make friends wherever they go.

$100

A packet of one hundred $100 bills is less than 1/2" thick and contains $10,000. Fits in your pocket easily and is more than enough for week or two of shamefully decadent fun.

$10,000

Believe it or not, this next little pile is $1 million dollars (100 packets of $10,000). You could stuff that into a grocery bag and walk around with it.

$1,000,000 (one million dollars)

While a measly $1 million looked a little unimpressive, $100 million is a little more respectable. It fits neatly on a standard pallet...

$100,000,000 (one hundred million dollars)

And $1 BILLION dollars... now we're really getting somewhere...

$1,000,000,000 (one billion dollars)

Next we'll look at ONE TRILLION dollars.
This is that number we've been hearing so much about.
What is a trillion dollars? Well, it's a million million.
It's a thousand billion.
It's a one followed by 12 zeros.

You ready for this?
It's pretty surprising.

Go ahead...

Scroll down...

Ladies and gentlemen... I give you $1 trillion dollars...

(And notice those pallets are double stacked.)
So the next time you hear someone toss around the phrase "trillion dollars"... that's what they're talking about.

When you look back,
you’ll realize that the journey was the reward,
                                                                                      Not  your  final  destination.

What Is It You Can Say, "When The Final Curtain Call's"      YES... I DID THAT!!!
